Do they have enough police out there?! That's got to be a heavier presence than normal....did they bring that many officers out for other rallies and marches?
Police presence was heavy. DC Metro was operating a drone from the Jefferson Memorial, until being shut down by Park Police due to restricted airspace over the Mall. MRAPs were spotted throughout the day. Metro, Park and Capitol Police were all present and professional. The various units have long memories, if you will, as they were able to ascertain participants from past events, like Occupy.
