#OperationAmericanSpring #OAS

Col. Riley addressing Citizens. Confirmed via Park Police on frequency 166.725: Military Police are operating a drone from the Jefferson Memorial; PP having them stand down, not because the military cannot be called against Americans, but because it violates restricted airspace. Lots of not-so-incognito "observers" amongst the crowd.

  1. So I guess your projection of 10-30 million patriots was accurate. Looks like about 40 or so people in the most populous photo. Even subtracting the "observers" you definitely had more than 10 people show up. Mazel tov.

  2. Thank you, Professor.

David, I did not make any projections and wrote earlier questioning whether I'd be awed or underwhelmed. I didn't count heads, but at its peak, approximately 500 or so were present. But if it was 5, 50 or 500 bajillion, and assuming you're a Citizen, they're your rights, too. Black, white, straight, gay, old, young, woman, man, socialist, Constitutionalist - everyone has a vested interest.

  3. Americans observing the OAS protest need to know a few things.

    * This is not the first and only protest going on against the government, although listening to OAS talk on forums, you would think that everything depends on them. I have been a part of the liberty movement (the real one, not the current right-wing version) since 1975 and protests have been going on for a decade and more.

    * OAS and "newbies" to the anti-government movements need to know that they have many other options to choose from besides just right-wing and left-wing. In fact, if liberty is your goal, then you should get away from the right/left politics. If you like the ideas of the founding fathers (economic freedom and civil liberty) then look into the libertarian movement.

    * "Phase 3." This is the most disturbing part of OAS. They are a group of people who are very religious, and phase 3 involves Col. Riley hand-picking five very religious people to hand-pick the new president of the United States. I won't get into why that is such a bad idea.
